An Exellent half day tour. It consists of one guided visit to the reefs during the morning where you will visit two different reef areas for 40 min. Sealion Splash Adventure – SSA
Visitors begin their program in a waist deep salted water pool where they receive form a trainer an orientation session about the sealions and the safety measures are explained. After this, the sealion performs a series of behaviors and plays with the visitors. Visitors then receive a mask to watch the sealion swim and perform several stunts underwater. Additionally, visitors will touch and caress a sealion while having a photo session. The water component ends and visitors are moved to a stage, followed by the sealion, in this stage the sealion will perform a different set of tricks.

Dolphin Swim Experience – DSE
Visitors are welcomed by a host, where they receive a lifejacket and their station number is assigned. A trainer arrives to accompany them to the assigned station. The trainer begins the program with a 10 mins orientation session, where interesting aspects of the dolphins are explained and the session format is explained. Safety and security measures are also explained. After the orientation, a 5 mins behavior presentation begins, consisting on jumps, tailwalks and other behaviors. This is a great time for visitors to take pictures of the dolphins. When the presentation is finished, visitors will enter their station, a 1.2 meter deep platform where they will be able to touch and caress the dolphin and observe fun behaviors, while the trainer explains the physical characteristics of the dolphin. Visitors will have their photo session at this time. Afterwards, visitors will receive a mask to watch the dolphins swim and perform several stunts underwater, and visitors will have the choice to stay in the platform or to swim freely with the dolphins.

In order to swim with dolphins, you have to visit either Xcaret Park or Xel-Há park, the cost of the entrance to any park is not included, Participants must arrive to the park one hour in advance of your schedule time, Children 4 years old and younger must be accompanied by a paid adult, Parents of minors (18 and younger) will be required to sign liability waivers.
